Background Information
Chrisco Church Kinoo (CCK) is located at Kinoo Shopping Centre in Kabete constituency along Nairobi-Nakuru highway. CCK is a Five-Fold Ministry under District seven (7) Presbytery of the CHRISCO congregation.
The Church is founded upon 5 pillars which are:
1.Membership Pillar
This pillar is about the people who belong to the Chrisco Church Kinoo. They are the reason the Church exists and what gives it life and direction. It is the body of Christ who fellowship in the Church and is made up of men, women, youth and children who identify with the Church and who weekly gather for worship, spiritual nourishment and for building each other.
2. Spiritual Pillar
The spiritual aspect of the Church is to meet members’ spiritual needs and to ensure it has the expected Christ’s representation on earth. In order to attain this the Church identified spiritual ministration to its members.
3. Family Pillar
Chrisco Church Kinoo recognizes the family as the building unit of its membership since when God “called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Cor. 1:9), he also called you into “fellowship” with the whole family Church. For this reason the Church develops family values as part its strategic goal and thus regards family as one of its pillars.
4. Leadership Pillar
For Chrisco Church Kinoo to achieve its structural, organizational and strategic goals leadership is an important function of management.
5. Administration Pillar
For the Chrisco Church Kinoo to function effectively and efficiently and pursue its strategic goals, there will the administration pillar. This pillar will incorporate handling of people and situations within the church as the backbone of the Church and will be driven by communication and logistics.
